I was involved in a very serious car accident and had to undergo cervical spine surgery in 2005 with Dr. Blecher.
After the surgery in 2009, I successfully regained my health and fitness. I am back and loving it. Every aspect of my life has changed for the better. I feel incredible. It’s been 1 year, 6 months since I started my fitness journey. I am still training and changed my profession to be a personal trainer. I truly believe this is my calling. I love it. I have my life back. It motivated me to greater heights than I ever could have imagined possible eight years ago. I know this journey would have not been possible without the great care given to me by Dr. Blecher and his staff.
I entered the Beachbody Transformation contest for P90X in Feb. 2009 and won the contest for that month. In Dec. 2009 in a freak accident while cleaning I got hit in the eye, snapping my head backwards and breaking two screws in my neck. Again Dr. Blecher performed the cervical fusion surgery on Jan. 29, 2010. The day after the surgery I started walking for 30 minutes, did not use any pain killer after the surgery until today. I am truly blessed to have Dr. Blecher as my neurosurgeon.
As of 4/20/2010 I am a finalist in the Beachbody grand finale contest (P90X), the contest winner will be announced on May 1st. I am also very proud of my HKC (Kettlebell) certification in 2009 and looking forward towards my RKC certification in Sept. 2010. With Dr. Blecher’s approval, in March I started my P90X fitness training, getting ready for the contest on May 1st.
Sandra and Karen are wonderful, kind, caring, and professional in their assistance to Dr. Blecher. They truly ease my anxiety of undergoing surgery again. They made the preparation for the surgery easy for me. Thank you Sandra and Karen.
Dr. Blecher, words cannot express my thanks and gratitude. I know every patient that walks through your doors are walking into the best care available.
